Today I published the first book of a new legal thriller series.
It’s called “I Swear To Tell” and it centers on a young woman who’s out to make her mark as a defense attorney in Washington, D.C.
Her name is Cadence Elliott. She is smart and ambitious but she has some serious personal issues to deal with.
Her client in this story is another young woman who is accused of critically wounding a neo-Nazi during a violent protest.
This book is obviously not drawn from recent events (as it was published, thousands of people were gathered outside the White House to protest the killing of George Floyd).
But I was alarmed to see issues that it touches on—like the agendas of radical political fringe groups—rise to the surface during the riots and protests that have spilled out across America.
I’m super proud of my little story and I hope that it can be read and enjoyed for what it is—a piece of entertainment that seems, while you’re immersed in its pages, grippingly real.
If only the reality unfolding around us right now was less disturbing than the fictional drama I dreamed up.
I have read all your book, they are great, I more than enjoyed them. Just finished Cadence Elliott, I love how I couldn’t guess what was the ending was . Keep writing please, you have a excellent talent I have been reading this genre for at least 20 years and you are up there with the best
I live in Australia and read on my Kindle. I usually read a book a week.

Hi Marionne,
Great to hear from you. Thanks so much for such lovely praise. It’s very heartening to know you enjoy the books. I’m busy planning and writing the next – I’ll be keeping both series going. Stay tuned for news on the next.
Have a great day.

This book was a great read. I could not put it down and the ending was such a shocker. Great story telling. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Great to hear, Esther. Thanks for the feedback.
